The distinctive weave gives it a solid look, almost as if it were made of wire. Paired with a gray suit, the substantial tie sets off the whole suit with no sense of mismatch. Of course, it goes with suits of every other color too. It makes the whole suit look sharp and luxurious, and I find myself wearing it more often. Considering how well it is made, I'd call it a bargain.
The texture is wonderful, and the packaging feels luxurious too.
